Breda's Light Boat Parade is an atmospheric and fun event where decorated sloops, boats and vessels sail through the atmospheric Singels at night, all brilliantly lit up. This annual parade, which has been taking place since 2008, has become a true Breda tradition. During this special event, you see the city at its most beautiful, in a completely different light.
Whether you choose to watch from the shore or sail along yourself, it is the chance to experience Breda in a unique way. Join in yourself this year on 21 September and give your sloop a festive look! Enjoy an evening full of light, fun and atmosphere on the water.
What does it cost?
It costs €140 for a 7p sloop and €220 for a 10p sloop during the light boat parade and includes the following:
What do we arrange?
Basic lighting on the boat front and rear, Start number for the parade & Rubbish bags for waste afterwards
What can you arrange yourself?
The complete decoration of the boat and yourself of course. However, you will be expected to clean up the decoration of the boat yourself. This is because the boats are rented out again the next day. You may also eventually bring food and drinks for on board.
